Buckle up for a gushy post kids.
In October of 2024, I had the immense privilege of marrying the woman I love. It may be an old cliché but it was genuinely the best day of my life (so far).
Now, I know I promised to post about the wedding (here) but that’s not today’s post. Today’s post is to talk about the incredible work that my wife is doing and how immensely proud of her I am.
My friends, meet Ruth.

In September of 2018, Ruth began the difficult journey to change careers. Previously working as a peripatetic violin teacher, she made the decision to go back to university to study Music Therapy.
Since then she has become a full fledged Music Therapist, she started her own therapy practice (please visit www.reflectivenotes.org) and if this wasn’t enough to make me beam with pride, recently she was approached by Newport city radio to not only present two music awards on behalf of Happiful (a mental health magazine – here) but also to appear on the Newport city radio podcast to talk about Music Therapy and her business.
I have watched this woman work so incredibly hard to be able to help people, it has been legitimately inspiring to watch and a pleasure to have been a part of her journey.
So if you have a spare 25 minutes and are interested, the podcast can be found here.
