Today I turned 32 years old.
Rather unfortunately, I have had to work my birthday this year. Being on the night shift, I’ve pretty much slept away most of my actual birthday.
That being said, I was thoroughly spoiled by my darling Wife. A Jam and coconut cake, chocolate chip dinosaur cupcakes and a truly fantastic selection of presents.
There is nothing like coming home to a house decorated for a birthday celebration, even if it is after 13.5hrs of work.
Much like New Years, I tend to get rather reflective on my birthday. It’s been one hell of a year, yes there were ups and downs but on the whole I’d say a damn good one for me personally.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, there’s a cupcake with my name on it (well, a triceratops, but close enough).
